Base coat
To keep up with the series of paint stages, here are a few more photos. This is the base coat (as mentioned previously, I wanted something high quality to seal everything in). When this dries, I will commence with the three color camo pattern. I will feel a bit guilty painting flat camo over this nice Dupont paint... oh well.
Oh, and of course before I walked away, I noticed that two very small flies committed suicide in the fresh paint!

A bit more progress today. Ill need to do some touch-up on the black. Looking forward to placing the body back on the frame.

I now have the body tub bolted down and about 50% of the wiring hooked up.

I took the carb apart cleaned all the crap and buildup out of it, and replaced most of the components with a kit. My kit was missing a few parts, so I need to order a few more kits and rebuild it again (hopefully not until winter though).
A bit more progress on the front end tonight. Hanno; Thanks for increasing the allowable file size for photos! It makes things much easier.
