Clean up
I still have a few boxes of the "smalls" to clean up and paint too... not to mention all the bolts, nuts and things like footman loops.

If you have any spares of those Ramsy 50R smalls, I would happily take one off your hands.
Before you spray Brians paint, I should let you know that I have had success with a NAPA enamel hardener when spraying with Brian's paint and with the gillespie paints. It will toughen up the interior semi gloss, but may make the exterior flat colours a little too shiny.

That's very good to know Rob. Looks like I'll be making a trip to Napa today. I do want that coating to be as durable as possible, so the hardener will be added. I have already sprayed the bottom side, and I really like working with Brian's paint. It made me smile too.
 If I trip over any other 50r's I'll be sure to let you know!

The hardener I have been using is matalpro urethane catalyst part number 6001C. I believe they also have a larger can of 6003C. As it contains isocyanides, it goes without saying that you need some extra levels of PPE.

Thanks John. I hope to have it looking like something more substantial in a few more days. Painting and watching it dry takes a lot of time.
