Last year i borrowed an original size 6 from a friend. ams and legs a bit (2") short.
I ordered a size 8 (me being 2 meters and approx 105kg)

The suit is made very wel. including a hood. Great materials used.
I will compare it to an original with photos (picasa album i will share)

The fabric is not as thick as the original (by first feel) but the manouverebility is greater.
Inside lining is great looks like the original wool but not as itchy .
11 pockets (incl 1 behind the 4 button jacket like lining)
Good feel of the fabric.
Extreme warm with just a t-shirt and shirt wearing denim trousers.

Inside suspenders are a little short. Thinking they would go from behind over the shoulder to the fasteners in front. This will not fit for me (leaving these hanging down)
Adding 25 - 30 cm to the 'straps' would fix it (+ compensation for a big belly )

Zipp for the quick pee
2 stop button for leg and arm adjusment
2 strap collar

Will post some pics wearing it tomorrow.

Now for me to make a CM hood number on the jeep and 12th field markings. (anyone??)
Trailer will also get it's correct CX markings and tandem hitch back after restauration.

Thanks so much for the picture! The new fabric does look closer to original than the test suit.

Now, if the fit is good and all the other details are right...
Keeping fingers crossed!

Jim

Default Denim crew suit

Jim,

Count me in for a couple of the denim crew suits when that project starts coming online!

Thanks for all the efforts you put into this.

I am looking forward receiving my pixie suit end of May because I ordered late.

That may happen when you serve your country 5261 km from home.. I look at a map of the continent every day . I miss my Carrier , ahahaha , I mean my family.. .

Cheers.

Robert

Ditto for me as well with ordering 12/28 even though we knew they wouldn't start production until enough orders were placed.

Update for 4/8/17 that I got a DHL Express delivery notice text on my phone that the package is scheduled to arrive 4/13/17. So next week we'll get to see what it looks like :-)
