Hi there,
I've been intently reading everyone's thoughts above. Thanks for your input. Taking everything into consideration, I'm going to get a standard GPW / MB side mirror assembly and use that. Thanks again and Merry Christmas, Chris

Same mirror as the jeeps with acorn nuts holding the short pattern adjustable arm.
