Default Oil Coolers

Is it true that the oil cooler constructed with the folded over wire are true English carrier manufacture and the coolers using the discs are the Canadian style?

Default oil Coolers

For those that may be interested ;Pictures show the 3 different types of oil coolers used in Carriers. First is the English, next the Canadian MK1*, then the LP manufactured ones for Australia and New Zealand. The NZ LP Carrier ones were made about 15 mins down the road from where I live. The Canadian one has twin tubes junctioning into a single outlet / Inlet, the LP were two separate tubes and the English one was a single tube with the wire loops.Cheers Andrew.
