This trailer is pretty much done. Ive been waiting since this past fall for some warm weather as I still needed to paint the original combat rims after getting them back from the sandblaster. I gave the rims a nice coating of POR15 then did the usual steps of tie-cote primer and finished with Olive Drab. When I rebuilt the rims I ended up replacing the rim bolts.

New made Firestone tires were used, wow do they look great. They have all the proper period correct markings on them. A nice touch is that the modern DOT/safety markings are done in very fine print just above the bead lock on one side only. When I installed the rims, it is almost completely covered up. Combined with putting it on the inside face you can't see it. New tubes and flaps were also used.

Well I built a second 10cwt trailer recently. Although this one is a bit smaller and fits in the palm of my hand.
