Good day,
I was just given the Gerry can in the attached photo by an old friend who is moving home and downsizing and was going to throw it out if I didn't take it. I suspect it is just a cheap Chinese knock-off but then I thought maybe the 3 diamonds on the side was similar to the logo used by Mitsubishi. Perhaps a JSDF Gerry can? Had a good search of the web but could find no match. Anybody have any info on this? Aussie disposals sold lots of Jerry cans over the years although he said he bought it at an antique and curio shop many years ago. I fear he may have been ripped off as he paid $50 for it. If it is just a crappy Chinese one it will be going back to them on a scrap metal ship on the next hard rubbish collection. If it is of no value and of some use to someone I will pass it on. It is not really appropriate For a Ford CMP truck in any case. Cheers, Jacques
