A few photos of the the cab as is now. Filler needs tidying up but you can see where the two halves of the windscreen were joined.

The inside panel of the upper windscreen cannot be added until the roof is rejoined to the cab. The piece of wood holding the windscreen gap will need to stay till that panel is added as the panel wants to twist down and close the gap by a few millimetres

A few photos of the rear body at this stage. Guards and roof and floor removed. A section of the top gutter will need replacing and the rear corner near the fuel filler. Otherwise it should sand blast up ok.

It's been a while since we updated the ambo thread but in that time Jake has been making some progress on the mechanical side of things.
Gearbox and transfer case have been rebuilt and things are being sorted with the engine and radiator. The body and roof were loaded up and taken in for sand blasting this week.

WOW that's quite the project you have going there, I don't think I would ever tackle something with that much rust in it. Keep up the great work it gives me hope when it comes time to restore mine.

Rear body back from the sandblasters and survived rather well. There are a few areas to be repaired but it is still very straight and mostly solid. New floor with new ribs welded in.
