Interesting, thanks gents. This one has holes in the top of the engine cover which look like there were plates there at some stage. Possibly something from its time in the fire service.

Robert,
I will have to have a look but from memory my engine cover has what looks like holes on the top of it for the plate also but I think the holes did not line up, will double check. Chris
