Hello Mike and All,
I managed to buy a copy of the Motor Engineers' Pocket Book off a seller on Gumtree. I received an email that stated that the Pocket Book was originally owned by the seller's "brother Arnold who was an Aircraft Mechanic in the RAAF stationed in England during WW11". I may be using the Pocket Book when I start to restore my MCP 1940 Holden assembled Chevrolet ex-Australian Army General Service truck. I think this makes me a custodian of both truck and "Motor Engineers' Pocket Book" that was later owned by a RAAF veteran during his return to civilian life. The Motor Engineers' Pocket Book is the 1951 edition. Kind Regards Lionel
