Thank you all for your aswers,
I am curious to find out what is the use of this bracket, I am just making plans of the floor of my fat , and I am asking myself If ad this bracket or not? As Neels said the oil can is possible (there is no other bracket for it?) I think something that the co pilot needs, but what? Best regards Sylvain |

I found this picture of a sexton 25pdr , there is an very similar bracket on the left of the gun , but always the same question about the use! |

Here is a couple of picture of the one gallon can in the bracket. I am pretty sure it is not meant to be placed in this.

POW stands for petroleum, oil and water. It merely indicates the multi-use of that patttern of a can.
I would agree that the can would not be in that spot. Way too high. It is hard enough getting into a cab 12 gun tractor as it stands without a 12" high barrier standing there. |
