As a point of interest I believe the T16 jack block was the same design as the Canadian Carrier jack block. However, from the examples that I have, the NOS T16 jack blocks have their American part number boldly stencilled in black lettering. On the other hand the CMP truck jack blocks had no slot or metal plate to retain the jack: they were just a slab made from laminated wood.

Thanks for the clarifications Brian. Seems we learn new stuff even in the "For Sale " section. I am, of course, looking for the Cdn block.

Robe, that that Jack block is easy to make. I converted a T16 one.
