the photo before that one interests me as it appears to be a 30cwt Fargo rather then the normal 3 ton Dodge D series.

Pity I can't read the notice on the stand beside it.

What is the situation now with getting to see the museums at Bandianna and Pucka?

Last I heard, both were no longer open to civilians and were on a reduced manning basis? But could be accessed by appointment (if convenient).

Regards
Doug

Douglas,

Can't speak for Pucka museum, but Bandiana is accessible to civilians, though bookings must be made 24 hours (more is best) in advance, call Sharon on 02 6055 2525 to book. There are a finate number of people permitted for each time slot, so the further you book ahead, the more chance of securing a place. You are free to peruse the displays in the building itself, but may not be allowed to walk around the outdoor exhibits, unless an ADF member can go with you.

The above information was correct as of a number of weeks ago, and I have not heard any changes made to those rules. Pity the museum is on an active military base, or access may be much better. I suspect the display conditions of weapons would change dramatically if not on a base.

Certainly a must see.
