Richard, I have too! (slept)
I have never seen any reference to those wheels with the smaller sized bearing bores being from the usual Carrier range.
By that I mean: Carrier M.G., Scout, AOP, Cavalry, Bren, or Universal. All those mentioned ran wheels with the same bearing bore sizes, (including the Australian pattern )
The wheels certainly have a Vickers Carden Loyd look to them though.

Lynn/rich they were Carden Loyd wheels off a Carden trailer, mint rubber. Now used on a steam engine trolley.
