Thanks Rob
I never get tired of watching that video and see it as a tribute to the gallant men who used these machines in a life and death struggle we can barely imagine.

Brilliant! Loved it! Thanks Dave. Yesterday, I was treated to overflights of a 4 engined radial powered aircraft, possibly a DC6 firebomber. Just love the sound.

Al Overcast ... yes, Rob, I didn't realise how fortunate I was to fly in the EAA B17G, where passengers were able to roam where they liked during the flight except the tail gun position, until I read your post. I took off and landed in the radio ops seat, but during flight, wandered from the waist to the nose. The EAA crew also flew with the plexiglass cover off the mid-upper position, so I have several shots over the tail by standing with head above the fuselage line. There only requirement for that was not to let go of your camera: it makes a mess of the tail leading edge! Great flight!

Mike
