Howard,

great to see you here. You really have a good project there; well done.
We spoke about the rare 3C1 bodies on HMVF; you should be able to find some more info on the body here on the forum.

Alex

Default Wow

What a starting point Howard.... it appears to be in amazing condition and very complete.

This is the second Cab 11/12 truck I have seen on this forum with the smaller headlights.

Im curious to know if they are an original fitment?

Hello Not sure about the headlights the small ones are Jeep, so not sure if they were fitted after the 41 rebuild or a later fitting. I now have some large Headlights to fit with the blackout guards. Ive also got the correct front side lights and rear lights. Ive managed to get more done and started the strip down. Howard

Default Can someone explain.......

Appreciate the pictures Howard as I am working on a 1940 cab 11 Chev.

Now....could some one with good eyes confirm that the shifter for the tranny has the "reverse lock" on the wrong side????? mine is on the left of the shift lever??????? Does the lock lever work on iether side????? would be akward to activate the lever with your tumb.

I have also taken note of the location for the battery inside the cab right next to the 2 speed T case shift tower........ I relocated mine to the (cab 13) running board location as the 12 volt battery is too large for the original space ....... this is the first time I have seen an orignal set up.

Cheers
Bob C
