Are you looking for the 4x4 or prototype 6x6 version?

Meanwhile of the 4x4 FAT with 7B3 body, quite a few pictures were posted on MLU:
see http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=16678
and http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=22614
for example.

While attaching the pictures to Mariano's postings, I noted the design of the cab was altered. If you look closely, you can see the cab frame extends outward at the rear to merge with the rear part of the body which is wider than the standard Cab 13.

Interesting observation Hanno. Never noticed that before! "Armed" with this knowledge...it's quite obvious when you look at the fender, floor plates and lockers.

By the way, does anyone know if any of these 7B3 bodied FAT's arrived in NWE before the end of ww2?

Alex

Alex,

Me neither; I had a closer look at one of the constructional drawings above, and noted the body is integral (cab and rear body are one).

Hanno

PS: now merged with earlier thread on the same subject
