Glassons is a Wagga institution, even today. Good to see one of their older vehicles still in existence.
I live in Junee, and I keep hearing about interesting military vehicles that were around Junee in relatively recent times. I've heard of the two Blitz trucks that went into the interesting one seen at Corowa this year, along with another one that's apparently still in original paint with its tac plates intact, which may still be in the area. I've also heard that there were several military utes which are now gone to better homes. Good thing that nobody had any love for the old Inter which sat by the main road for years, and which is glacially being returned to operation as I get the chance! I'm guessing that Ganmain is now the Riverina centre for WW2 military vehicles! And a good thing too.

Yep, I went to that clearing sale.
Can't for the life of me remember who bought the Ford Ute. What I CAN remember is I was out-bid on the F15A! ![]() GT can you remember? UPDATE: LINK to original discussion about this sale.

Fascinating, thank you, gentlemen.
There was what looked like an F15 that sold from Marrar about eight months ago. I was twenty minutes too late. It had apparently been ex-railways at Junee, so I would've had another connection, had I got my grubby little mitts on it! But, my lovely wife tells me that I really need to finish the Inter before I start trying to collect more toys! I can see her logic, but then the "I want a Blitz" kicks in! Glassons still have their 1950s crash repair sign out the front; I'll look for a pic.

I too went to that sale with Tony. I think there were 3 roadster utes sold. we saw one on a trailer at Marar, large parts of the bodywork had decided to part company.
There were 5 i thik blitzes and pallets of ford parts. There was a pallet stacked high with ford fans . the scrapies bought a lot. shame.
