Some other films with carriers in are;
"A Canterbury Tale" made towards the end of the war around Canterbury and the local villages. There are some good shots of carriers whizzing about. And watch out for the way you are meant to exit the carrier from the commanders seat. Mind your backs while trying it out. Also the are some good shots of the city centre which was bombed out. "Hitler, My Part In His Downfall" staring Jim Dale as Spike Milligan. You see Arthur Low as an officer in a carrier. And I think the film is called "The Duck That Laid the the Golden Egg" where towards the end there are a few shots of carriers. Happy Watching Stephen |

In February 1979 I took my LP2A carrier to wellington on the back of my GMC for use in a TV advertisement for BASF cassette tapes. it is on You Tube, search for "BASF Dear John" and you will see it. I got paid the princely sum of $100.00 for this, didn't even pay the cost of getting it there, but it was a lot of fun. This advertisement won a lot of awards both nationally and internationally.

1979 my first year in the real world after finishing collage.
I had forgotten the add, thanks for the memories. Good adds are a rare thing.
