Hello,

I've searched the ford piston part number online, and MACs have them listed as ford V8.

Here's the gaskets i got, and some pictures of the newspaper that was in the box.

Hello John,

The head gaskets are for Post War (1945) 59A onwards until 1948 Ford Flatheads. They are marked "100HP"

As shown in attached photo the earlier head gaskets had a trapezoidal hole in the centre whereas the later gaskets had a round hold which reflects the difference in the cooling chamber shape at the deck of the block of the earlier vs later flatheads.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, and putting the pictures up. The news paper that was in the box was dated 17th July 1944, but i guess there's nothing to say that paper was from the day it was packed. Thanks again for your time.
