The bearings are the same , even the con rod bearings in the post war engine have the oil hole for the scoops in them , only early wartime con rods have casted in Bearings , width of wartime con rods are the same as the post war ones , to me the only difference is the by pass valve on the side of the block which directs a bit of the remaining oil to the rocker part of the engine , I have seen a lot of worn out rocker shafts on the splash lubrication engine , but never on a post war pressure engine In my C15 11cab , the original engine copes fine with it , but in my CGT it really has to work hard with limber and 25 PR on tow .
