Finally the tracks are ready to install
As delivered to me  Strap cut and lying along side to go on  And in place  It is suppose to be a 2 man min. job but the wife and I managed to get it on. We together make up one normal size guy  Next week the other side and i'll install the big tension springs that keep the rear idler sprocket tight

You do know that these tracks are directional I hope....
There should be a direction of rotation arrow cast in the edge of the track.

always read manual before starting an unknown job. I have the factory reprint from the track manufacturer from ww2 and it shows direction.I checked alot before installing, and had the wife verify lol. There are no arrows that i saw on the Israelis tracks

other side finally done, this time i did it alone. Wasn't as hard as i thought second time around on too the steering and alignment and driveshaft now

Wow incredible work, I have always wanted a M5, maybe someday I will track one down, but to many toys to do at the moment.
