And I see you are installing the 'Facility, Showering, DND Pattern, One Only, Driver for the use of' - this will be quite a unique restoration!!

Default Gearbox

Looks all you need to change is the shift tower and lever, shouldn't be too hard to find one of those.

Default Wow!

Cab looks great Shane, as does the rest. Nice job on the booster too. They really do work well, the brakes... when they are set up properly.

Looking forward to more (Cant wait to see the cab on!)

Well done mate

Cheers Tony.

Well mate seeing your truck face to face has me pumped to get this girl on the road. Also im using the photos i took under your truck to help me out with the booster so thanks again for all your help with answering all my questions at Corowa. The photos make my truck look all nice with clean lines however i have left many many dings, dents, holes and damaged panels as this is the look im after. I will regret this in the future when it rains hahaha.(might need you to find me an undercover space at the caravan park next year if shes ready)

Well Keith do you have one of those shift towers and lever laying around or am i better begging Andrew for the one in his truck he is selling. Also how is the video of Corowa coming along? Any chance you could put a bit up on youtube just for a little taste.

Oh by the way lads i need 8 exhaust valves any idea who may have some? With these in my hands the motor will be done in a week or so. Cheers Shane

Cheers Andrew great photos mate keep them coming. I have been sent some great items by a young bloke who has helped me out in a big way. I cant thank him enough for his time and advice not to mention parting with rare items needed for my resto.

Spent eight hours straight on the gearbox today and the shift tower. All went well cleaned the inside, wire brush work that went on forever and then a lick of paint. I know it should not be black but its a good contrast to the sand colour and makes it more defined. After filling with oil the rear seal sprung a leak so not quite done will have to source one asap.

Hi all.

Another day spent on my cab 12. Got a bit done here and there, got the seats done and gave the compressor a good clean out. I couldn't work out how the oil would get from the gear box to the con rod sump, due to the fact there was so much crap built up inside. However after a while i found it...

Seats came out pretty good i think. And yes i couldn't help myself and sat right down, thought they were the most uncomfortable seats ever made. Never mind if it was good enough for the Australian Army its bloody well good enough for me.

Sent Keith a very poor picture during the week asking if this is the correct fire extinguisher that was used in CMPS. So in these photos i have added two measurements, this will help overseas members and of course us Australians.
