Good math Stuart. ( I suppose an Iltis owner would have to be in order to balance his budget vs repair parts requirements).
So if one were to figure an average of 4 miles per hour of operation, then that engine would be nearing it's life expectancy. Then again, oils have come a long way since WW2. |

There was a special on TV years back that featured an American tank collector who had 23 tanks or so. At one point they asked him why he collected tanks. He said "I could collect beer cans, but who would care?"
