Street scenes of the 13 rue de la Madeleine film were actually done in the lower OLD Quebec city which features very old style european construction, narrow streets. etc.
The reason I know....one of the extras "resistance fighter" was the Math teacher ("Mr. Adam") in High School. Always perceived as a Math Nerd....once the movie was shown at school he became Mr Cool. He appeared only briefly carrying a sten gun. Small world !!! Bob C

Thanks thougth it looked like a Chevy . But LHD narrow tyres and open cab are unusual for late war.
