I'm happy to report they will soon be joining my collection of projects awaiting attention. At $5500 the pair I couldn't resist! The Cab 12 will now go to the top of the list, to be returned to the road in "as found" condition, including extendable yellow hand signal found in the shed. I can't wait to see what the cops will make of that! Not to mention the 1966 rego sticker!

The previous owner started work towards roadworthiness about 15 years ago but passed away before completion. He got the motor running, fitted brand new rear tyres, muffler, uni joints, reco brake booster, cooling system etc, including possibly new tropical core radiator. He even sourced some NOS steering end assemblies, although I'd be surprised if these are needed.

Anyway here's some pics for your enjoyment.

A few shots of the cab interior, which is fully original except for the usual timber roof frame repairs. No missing parts at all, no extra parts like dashboard switches, and the engine cover panels are stored in the shed. It just needs seat cushions, and I have some ratty ones which will match that backrest nicely!

Default Wow

Mate she looks great. Please can you post more photos if you don"t mind of the motor cover and the wood that the seats rest on. Also if you are able can you put up a video of the old girl showing her inside and out. Reason being i think if we can get most MLU people to put up videos and hints on their projects it would be a massive help to others being able to rewind, pause and listen to people in the know. There is something to be said about visual aids eg someone telling me about Samantha Fox is not as good seeing her in a video

No worries Shane, I just need to learn how to post on youtube. Also my SLR does full hi res video so I could send you a disc for downloading, that way you'll get much finer detail on freeze frame and you can zoom in and save stills for reference.

This is all I have of the seat risers until I get her home.

What about the timber dropside tray, I'm assuming it's original...? If so I can draw up full plans if none exists already.
