I had a little bit of sand so I cleaned up part of the spare wheel carrier. A bit of cut and paste will be required. Some new holes will need drilling as none of the existing ones match the captive nuts in the tool box.
I am booked in with the windscreen doctor on the 30th to have the rear window measured, I am using my Christmas bonus from Betty to have it fitted.

The blitz is taking a 12 month holiday, I haven't got the time to work on it for the rego check so will hand the plates in and start again next year.

That's a bit sad Robert. Hopefully you will find a few hours over the next 12 months to do what is needed.
Remember though, it is not the vehicle that is the most important, it is the person who is the custodian of the vehicle who is the most important as without them there would just be another vehicle for the scrap drive.

Regards Rick.

Rego day is on 8th. Nov so I need to get the blitz ready. I removed the manifolds today and fitted the new threads for the flange. I still have to clean the head before fitting the new manifold gasket tomorrow.

It took longer than I thought to fix, plus an extra trip to town for more parts. Had it finished on time though and today I registered the blitz again.
