The colours are KG#3 and black. It was freshly painted and cleaned for the kings visit. The fender is just a reflection. However I believe the right side headlamp cover was painted white. I'm not exactly sure why but I wonder if they were trying out different blackout light ideas.

Ive got more photos from the film that was shot too. I think there are pictures of this carrier from all sides. Probably most are on this forum but I'm not sure in which threads.
What an odd Bren mount. It looks like a regular brass bracket (of which Mk.I carriers have four) bolted to lower front below the gun port. Then there's a goose neck swivel that plugs into the bracket and clamps to the forward pivot on the Bren. I can't say if this is early, uniquely British, ever used on Canadian Carriers or what, but I can say is that from 1941 onwards the way of fixing a Bren gun in the hole was by way of a rubber pad and a strap...first rubber and later web.

Jordan, have you any idea what the 41 on the light square is for? Likewise the 'bump' on the forward face just in front of the driver?

Bruce I have no idea on what the 41 on white square was for. The bump on the front plate in front of the drivers armour. It was just a name plate with his daughters name on it. It says Gail.

Here are some more pictures of the same carrier at the same time. These are taken from British Pathe film stills.
