Default Mortar

IMHO: a MKI* built as a UC-2 mortar carrier. Production date about mid to late June, 1943.
Nothing like a challenge !

Brings back memories.... (Insert shameless sales opportunity) if you decide you want to re rivet the hull back together, give me a shout as I may be able to assist you with the correct tooling.

Sorry folks but I have funds to raise if I am going to get my carrier to W&P 2014

It has a distinct resemblance to the Frankencarrier setup, only you have more original goodies. Nice find!

Default Will post pictures: MkI Carrier Retrieval

Hello all,

I am working on a retrieval date with the tilt and load company. Hopefully, it will be later this week. As soon as I have pictures, I will post a status update. Once restoration begins, I'll re-post on the Restoration Forum.

Regards, Richard
