Thanks for that.
Wish I had known when I went to war and peace, might have save a lot of trouble.
Dose the 6 on the bar that joins the piston and the cam mean anything?

Stephen

There are different markings for different lengths used on different models of carb. It's a C on the Holley 94 21-29 that I've got in the truck, but I'm guessing from the above that the T16 uses a special model.

Assuming it's not too different, and you're planning on doing any work there's a useful rebuild overview here -

http://www.streetmachineclub.com/Por...Layout%201.pdf

and www.vintagespeed.com do some good rebuild kits (although the website's down at the moment).

I can recommend picking up a Holley 26-68 jet driver on ebay - they're a pain to get out without damage (I failed) and the driver makes it a lot easier.

Default Try treadwell carbs

I have had my original Mk1 Carrier carb witht he governor rebuilt by Treadwell Carbs in NY. Cost was $80 USD. Took a while as they do race car carbs, but they rebuilt it. and ran it in on a v8 befo0re shipping.

I think there is a little mix up on what carb is on the Windsor and T16 compared to the mk 1 and mark11's

I thought the Windsor used the same as the UC Mk1 /2's which I think was a twin barrelled Holly 94 ?
