Hi Shane - I have a radiator that was restored by Balhannah Radiators. $900 and it is yours.

Hi Bob. $900 sounds better than $2000. However i know a bloke that is doing some electrical work at your place could you give the radiator to him. Come to think of it make it $600 and there wont be any fires caused by electrical fault bwhahahaha (this could happen if i bribe him with a CHEV blitz truck)and you know as well as i do he couldnt say no. And now your asking yourself how does he know who is working at my place...........scary, so scary that maybe i should make it a fair deal and put in a fuel cap(im missing one) and repair the dash for this young man. Hi Shane - I had another look at your radiator and saw that it was a tropical core one with the chamfers on each edge. The one I have is out of a Cab 13 Ford so I do not know whether that would be suitable. We need to know whether yours is the typical radiator for a Cab 12.

As far as I know they are all interchangeable, the CMP ones have taps at the bottom and the lower outlets are in line with the water pumps (unlike Carrier radiators for example). Yours looks like a CMP one. The Cab 13 radiator should fit although the sheet metal shrouds are different.

The seats have a sprung base - which is far superior to foam which is most commonly used in restorations. These are not easy to find though.

I think the 13 radiators are slightly different
I have fitted 2 different radiators from 13 cabs to my 12, but the lower hoses don't line up with the water pumps. They can be made to fit, but not without a lot of swearing.
The shroud is also different allowing for a cross bar to be inserted through the upper part of the shroud.

Oh by the way took the brakes in today, should get them back next week. Have also asked if they can fit brake lines and was told $95 an hour Should get the tyres in 7 to 14 days

But the relative positions of the radiator mounts to the water pumps was unchanged between cab 12 and 13. It's not uncommon to see cab 12s and 13s retrofitted with truck or carrier radiators where they don't line up. I've had to fit the wrong ones myself sometimes and if you fit the hoses first then push the radiator down into position before tightening the clamps they work OK.
