I just picked up another 2 carriers. So into the shed they go. A set of boxes finished, cleaned and painted.

I was in Oz at Xmas and didnt see any, must have been under the snow you had........... (41 degrees in melbourne!!)

Thanks Dave, those couple of carriers will be stored away for a while as I've got some other projects in line first. Paul, you probably didn't see them hiding behind all those kangaroos
Onto some fuel tanks. These must be bent in sequence or you won't get the last bend without destroying it.

If they're not bent at 90deg to the side then they'll be twisted when welded.

I also made a new forming plate which is a bit thicker than the other one I had. It certainly needs to be clamped to a solid base for peening.

As I form it around the corner I kept grinding the excess away as you don't need to shrink/stretch any more than you need to.
Another 7 to make and a dead arm at the end of it

You have kangaroos..............???? How bloomin big are they to hid a carrier???? Ideal in combat as camoflage I think!!
