At first I also thought this to be a retrofitted US body, but some details like the round holes in the lid pointed towards British or Canadian lighting. Obviously that could also have been done post-war. A buddy recently told me that the owner convinced him it was originally a Canadian Stores body. So after another look at the truck and the Servicepub CD-rom I have to agree....it's a Canadian Stores body with some slight modifications!
