Hi Hanno

Oh well, back to the old drawing board, It was I suppose just an eccentric man's dream. We all thought of the dig with a "tongue in cheek" attitude we will now have to find another project to keep the thread going as this one dies.

Cheers

Tony

Did I ever tell you about the time I was abducted by aliens? It was while I was on a trip, looking for the loch ness monster. The ship was shaped a bit like a spitfire, just different in every way.

Aliens were from uranus! The landing site was in Area 51, which is of course where the fake moon landing was staged. Also the home of the sasquatch/bigfoot/yeti/abominable snowman/julia gillard.

Ok, how about all those buried trucks, road building equipment & supplies on the Alaska Highway. Too expensive to bring back so line them up and cover with dirt.

Maybe the MVPA Alaska convoy was just a cover for a recon mission.

Don't worry folks, the Spits may have been a hoax, but apparently he's picked up a genuine lead on a pristine B29, and I have to admit it does seem more credible this time.

No doubt has Amelia Airhart at the controls, and Glen Miller sitting in the back!
