There is a trail sitting in a friends workshop that for all intents and purpose's look's like a 6 Pdr trail but is stamped 2 Pdr i'll try and get some photo's and see if it makes reference to a manufacturer

Dave,

Most carriages have stamped tin plates ( Trail,upper shield,lower shield etc) stateing 6 & 2 pdr.

Quite common.

I've downloaded this photo from the IWM site some ago. It shows a 2pdr on the production line in Canada.
