It got to 41 degrees today at work. It was actually cooler in the plant than outside, but only just. Had sweat pouring off me while doing some painting near our north facing wall.

Only 34 or 35 here in QLD. Was 43 on Monday.
I poured hot coffee on myself, just to cool down! Must be simply boiling in the antarctic, according to the trend of getting hotter in Australia the further south you go.

Hi Guys
45 degrees and a strong hot north wind today, I knew when I went outside this morning I knew we were in for a stinker and sure enough fire bombing planes been going over the house for most of the afternoon fighting a bushfire west of us. I feel for those Victorians who will get our hot weather tomorrow and I sure hope all the fire bugs stay home due to the heat, but that is wishful thingking. Cheers Tony

That was a good map, we had a similar one for the state after our hot few days, nice to see I still live in the driest and hottest state. When I start to feel too hot I just go on MLU and look at the photos posted by the Canadian guys, just as good as sticking your head in the fridge or taking the lid off the esky and taking a seat. ![]() Cheers Tony

My story is minus 56 degrees C, and a few days before that when the temperature got up to minus 45. So cold my glasses froze to my nose.
