Good picture of a Brit MkI. I have not seen the kit locker mounted on top of the engine cover before.
I thought by that stage of the war, they would have done away with those white "suicide squares".
Keep posting them for us Kevin.

In Kevin's post #35 the last picture shows RMY 681, with a large "4" on the right front guard. What does that mean? (please)

That is also an interesting photo Kevin posted in #36. I have seen quite a few wartime carrier photos of them in any position other than upright, and as I recall, most of those showed broken/damaged track suggesting a mine or shell impact did it in. In Kevin's photo, both tracks appear to be firmly in place and the general shape of the carrier plates looks true, A lot of dust on the front of it and the broken headlamps suggest perhaps a close blast simply knocked it over.
