Hi Greg,

You most recent photos are 7 years old. Got any fresh ones? A lot can happen to a truck in 7 years, especially if it is stored in the big blue shed. (outside).

Regards Rick

While we await new photos, I can tell you that the truck has not changed much since the last batch of photos. Yes, there is rust where you expect rust to be, but the only major change I saw (recently) was the truck's desire to visit China - it is sinking into the ground somewhat. An affliction suffered by any vehicle around here that stands in place for more than a month. The truck did grow another seat in the front tho'.

I have an interest in the vehicle of course, but the wife is watching me type this, so I disavow any desire to purchase it...gotta go!

Thanks Greg, certainly a lot more surface rust but hopefully not too much deep rust.

Regards Rick.

Greg,

although I have no interest in buying the vehicle I do have to say that it must take a lot for you to admit that you have too many projects and let it go to someone else. That takes sphericals mate.

Shame others close to you cant follow that realisation . . . .

Hope it goes to a good home

R

Hi Robin,

Thanks, it was a tough decision to decide to sell it.

Cheers,
Greg

Default Gregg's truck on Sunday Nov 17th

It seems that Gregg's truck has survived very well since the last 7 years. The paint has faded particualrly on the South sunny side.... faded to the traditional orange/yellow with some lime green pigment left. The rust is mainly surface bloom with no perforation. A good blast with "soda" would have it ready for primer and paint. Truck was part of the Defence Research and has certainly not been driven much. Cab is sound and underpinnings in very good shape.
