I read the models as (left to right) blank, F8, blank, F15, F15A, blank, F30, F60S, F60L, F60H and FGT.

Looks like a conflict between the parts book and MBF1
I don't imagine a heavy six wheeler on 16"wheels.

I have a WW2 pic of an F60H Cab 11 with 16" wheels. It is not mine so I cannot share here but it existed.

I seem to remember the middle page of Wheels & Tracks no.34 shows an F60H wrecker with 16inch wheels, and and F60H with 16inch wheels is also mentioned in Barts "the Observers Military Fighting Vehicles".

Default Wheels of AMBULANCE and F60H

Hello

Alex you have a good memory. In Wheels and Tracks number 34, the F60H in the center of the paper is described as having wheels with 16".

In an other domain I have examined the bible of all CMP collectors and BART VANDERVEN give some indications about the wheels used by FORD F60L or CHEVROLET C60L with ambulance body and even by F602L.

About the ambulance in FRANCE I know that in the museum of BAYEUX NORMANDY there is a CMP ambulance but I have not soon seen the truck.
Best regards Serge

Hi Serge,

..are you refering to the one below? a french friend passed me these two old photos of an ex-French Navy F60L Ambulance that seemed to be in a static display in a collection or a Museum.
He was not sure if the truck is still there now. Obviously has the 20' tyres.

Default AMBULANCE FORD in BAYEUX

Hello KOSTAS

I know that an original CMP ambulance is stored in the museum in the town of BAYEUX situated in NORMANDY. As many CMP these truck belong to the last batch of CMP vehicles which were sold in the haven of BREST at the end of the 70' years. Most part of them were buyed by european military vehicles collectors and the ambulance arrived in this museum.
Unhappily I have never visited the museum and certainly the truck is stored in a shed but I have founded the email address of the manager of the museum : the docteur JP BENAMOU.
I give you these one with the hope that he will answer.

benamou.jp@wanadoo.fr

Nevertheless I think that the truck displayed in your last post should be a F60L and not a 30cwt as you are looking for.
Best regards Serge
