You could well be right. Like Phil pointed out, there was a series of three tonners with 16" wheels for special purpose house type bodies. If this was one of them, the three ton GS body would not have been original to this truck.

Anyway, it looks like a very nice restored vehicle. I see the auction ended with the reserve not met, so I guess we'll be seeing it on here again.
