I am tending to agree that the starter is suspect, and it doesnt like the high compression area of the rotation. Good luck

Default Starter not working

Hi
Check to see if the bolts that hold the starter are good and secure.

The grounding of the starter is through these bolts.

Personally i think you should scrap the carrier and give it to your brother.................. who has'nt got one!!!!!!

Default Dead spot on Starter

Hello Stephen, we had the same problem, and we had the bendix replaced and it solved the case,
