Sat outside since the mid 50s and almost rust free ? dont you boys get any rain over there ?

Very nice. Good job on saving this one guys! Dave, good luck with it; lots of nice bits there....even the three switched next to the gauge cluster and the knob for the vent-control!

You can see there are no trees in the pictures for a reason. That is because grass is about the only thing able to stand in the wind. Some of the coulees get heavy brush because that is where the snow accumulates. Sometimes the dark back side of a windswept hill will have black brush growing like the bristles on a dog's back, because the snow isn't melted off to fast by the sun. The farmers seed where the soil will grow plants, or fence and graze the rest.

When I first moved to the Prairies the wind was the first thing I noticed. There is a famous W.O. Mitchell book calle, Who has seen the wind? After a while, you don't notice it.
