There is a heavy grey Primer designed for just that purpose. It has a lot of zinc in it so while welding it it does not burn but wow does it smell bad and not great for you either so wear a repirator or do it outside!!! My nephew welds for a tank company and they use it as well. Yes it is at Crappy Tire as well at any gas welding supply store for refilling oxy tanks and at most body shop and welding gear suppliers. Good luck and hold your breath!

I do alot of mig welding and don't like the fumes .When I replaced my house furnace with one of these 90% ones I cut my old one in half to ues the bottom half and mounted a 6" flex tube about 3 ft long .I put a filter in the furnace ,and casters to move it around .to my work . This sucks up any fumes that you get and cost you very little to make ..
