The 2pdr was never mounted on the T16 carrier, the 2pdr was however, mounted on Mk I and Mk II carriers here in Canada, for training purposes only, 24 carriers being converted for this purpose. Australia also had a 2pdr mounted carrier, based on the Australian made version of the universal carrier.
