Yes they are. Since it is the bottom of the frame which usually rots out first, the shorter MLVW M-35 frame would not be of much use, unless one was able to spice two of them together.

Regarding the bows, they will do although they are a bit different dimensionally. There are also other subtle differences like the high/lo on the staves of a duece, or the locking bars on the corner pieces of the M35.

What does someone recomend then for restoring those windshields. I'm sure many MV collectors have tried different methods.

Here are a few photos i took this morning of the windshield frames,the major problems were the hinge on mine,a few days of work and your done.
