There is no such thing as "Canadian Brown", although it is often called than these days. Officialy it is SCC No.2 Brown. Click on the link to read more info and take note of what Mike Starmer wrote above - he's the expert!

I saw your friend Martin Voogd's call for help on the gaf92.nl site. You might want to point out to him that Canadian jeeps were not painted "Canadian Brown", but US Olive Drab, sometimes with the 'Mickey Mouse Ears' camouflage scheme as pointed out above by Mike.

I have been searching for the true shade of SCC No.2 Brown and have tried "Canadian Brown" from one supplier, a RAF Dark Earth and a Service Brown. None came near the paint chip in Mike Starmers book and a very small bracket from on an old armoured vehicle I am restoring .... then one day I was cleaning up parts and came across a large bracket that held the voltage regulator and reaiised it was the source I had been looking for and matches the wartime description nicley. It is available from RR Services, with my name on it.
