Added a shot of both types of lowers in case you don't have a reference manual there.
You need to have the piston buffer spring (short and thick spring) and the return spring tube already mounted onto the weapon before you install the return spring. Just thought I'd mention that in case you were trying to install it as an assembly.

Thanks David! I do not have a manual or exploded drawing the pics were a big help.
It only had the one spring. The rod WAS getting hung up. I removed the magazine, held it baqrrel down and dry fired it. Every thing fell into place. Thanks again!
