Hi Scott

That was a great post. It bought back so many good memories of the Australian Outback not many have seen. I would love to have been on that trip with the Blitz and knowing how hard those old guys did the mail run years ago. I last did the trip with a bunch of mates about 10 years ago and I did it in my Pajero. Thanks for the memories.

Cheers

Tony

Default Jeff Fullwood

I've met Jeff several times, a great bloke. First time I saw his blitz was at the 50th anniversary of the Back of Beyond in Marree where we played the movie in 2004.

I, along with a couple of collaborators made the documentary "Last Mail from Birdsville - the story of Tom Kruse" which is available as part of the Back of Beyond collection from the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Default Canberra

Just watched the intro, amazing... at 2:15 there's an Australian Canberra bombing at low level.

Default And in the background...

Look what we have here! Instantly this has become a quality production regardless of anything else.

Default Chevrolet manufacturing

Not CMPs but a 1936 film with some very interesting footage of casting, engine building, in fact the whole car.
