A Very good friend of mine told me you should use high pressure air to blow the dirt out...he told me if you wash it...you just move the dirt around and imbed it...he seems to know what he is talking about...so I would try that first..

if ur afraid of it shrinking after u wash it.... wrap your pistol in plastic wrap and put it in the holster while it dries. thats what i do when i make leather items
