The only number I ever found on mine was on the bell housing. The engine was a later replacement, so had a different number (2G37711F), but the one that corresponded with the number listed as the engine/chassist number in the registration books was the one of the bell housing.

From what I've seen, Cab 11 and Cab 12 Fords had numbers on the frame under the cab but Cab 13 didn't. I'v seen a Cab 13 serial facing up by the motor mounts, but only on the one truck.

The serial numbers should be on the frame on the passenger side just a head of the door
